Social Experiment Returns Lost Wallets in Huntsville

May 11, 2018 Beth Ridgeway

Mark Rober, a youtuber, decided that he would create a social experiment where he dropped 200 wallets in cities all across the United States to see how honest people were when it came time to return them. Huntsville was one of those cities. He asked participants to drop wallets in the high and low income areas, in the men and women’s restrooms, and to get footage if possible of them dropping it. Out of 10 wallets, Huntsville returned 6 of them.

A few key takeaways to this video are that if you have a wallet, put your phone number in it so people can reach you. If you drop a wallet into the nearest post office box, they will return it to the owner!  See the video below!
